The Versatile Blogger Award – My empty apartment

I must thank The Finicky Cynic for nominating me for this award and a chance to share a bit about myself!

That being said, here are the rules:

1. Thank the person who gave you this award.
2. Include a link to their blog.
3. Select 15 blogs/bloggers that you’ve recently discovered or follow regularly.
4. Nominate those 15 bloggers for the Versatile Blogger Award.
5. Tell the person who nominated you 7 things about yourself.

Seven Facts:

1. I never really get lost, I call it exploring new places.

2. I have trouble recognizing faces, there were times I didn’t notice my sister standing next to me because I wasn’t expecting to see her there.

3. I think of my girlfriend whenever I eat corn.

4. My apartment is mostly empty except for a couple of books and I like it that way.

5.  I cry easily when I am alone (I get teary eyed watching the news) but I can hardly cry with anyone else around.

6. I cook so bad my sisters used to wake up immediately to take over the kitchen if I tried to make lunch for them.

7. I love life, so please don’t turn off my life support if I ever fall into a coma.

And here are great blogs:

A Little Butch That Could

A Boy and Her Dog

Reading Femme

Family Values Lesbian

Thank you The Finicky Cynic for the nomination!

Thanks for the shout-out! And I find it funny (cute, even) that you think of your girlfriend when you eat corn; that’s so sweet. ❤

Thanks for giving me this chance to share a bit about myself! It’s actually a weird story behind the corn thing, but that is how it has become now.

If there’s any force in the universe that dispenses blessings, I call down blessings on you for the nomination, but Notes from the U.K. is an award-free zone. I love it when blogs I like (and I like yours a lot) get nominated, and I can’t help preening a bit that I’ve been nominated, but there’s something about the whole process that just doesn’t fit me well. So I’ll check out the blogs here that I don’t already know and say thanks again. It does make me feel great, and I’m sorry I can’t pick up the baton and run.

Hello Ellen, sorry about that, I had initially included you in the nomination because I really hoped that more people could read about your great blog. I only noticed that you had a page on being an award-free blog just as I was going to drop you a message about the nomination so I took it down again. Oops, I must have did the updated incorrectly, sorry about that.
